The Lane County Elections Office will be relocating their offices into a building that they have purchased as soon as remodeling of the facility is complete. I have reviewed a copy of the plans for the remodel which include the installation of an elevator, the alteration of toilet rooms, installation of new ramps, replacement of door hardware and modification of counter heights. All of these items qualify as ADA improvements that are eligible for HAVA funding.

Counties are reminded that the installation of drive-up drop boxes is also the type of project eligible for HAVA funding.
