Phil Barnhart stands up for our values while fighting against out of state special interests in Salem.

Phil has fought to eliminate billions of dollars in loopholes and corporate giveaways to fund education, public safety, health care, and social services.

Phil has worked hard to bring responsibility and accountability to our government.

Quality Education

Phil has led the fight to put more teachers in the classroom and ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed. He led the fight for a no cuts school budget so all our kids will have small classes and a full school year. Phil will continue his fight to lower tuition and improve access to quality community colleges, universities, and apprenticeship programs, to help students qualify for good jobs in a strong economy.

Quality, Affordable Health Care

Phil fought to ensure access to affordable prescription drugs and will continue to support pooling programs to reduce costs. Phil worked to protect the Oregon Health Plan, and will push to expand health care coverage for all of Oregon's children.

Strong Public Safety

Phil advocates tirelessly for public safety and law enforcement. He opposed attacks on the State Police, and will push for the hiring of more than 100 new officers to allow for 24 hour patrols of our roadways. Phil has worked hard to give prosecutors, police, and sheriffs the tools they need to crack down on criminals and keep meth off of our streets.
