DEBORAH BOONE: STILL A REAL LIFESAVER FOR OUR FAMILIES

Deborah is a volunteer firefighter and is working to make sure our rural communities have the emergency services they need. As a member of the Emergency Board, she is working to fund additional state police patrols to ensure Oregon's highways are safe.

Deborah is working hard to increase access to health care services.

Deborah fought to keep 250 family wage fishing jobs and voted for a 12% tax cut for Oregon businesses.

Deborah taught a successful Welfare to Work Program that trained people to get jobs and off welfare. Now, she is working to protect working people from outrageous interest rates on payday loans.

Deborah is working to control spending by state agencies and increase accountability in government.

Deborah is leading the effort to reform the legislature and end the partisan bickering in Salem, so we can solve the state's most pressing problems.

Deborah and her husband live on the family tree farm in rural Clatsop County and have two grown children.
