FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
We do not need to increase taxes; we need to change our budgeting and spending habits. We must fund the highest priority programs first, hold all programs accountable for measurable results, and modify or eliminate marginal and ineffective programs. This can be accomplished through a three pronged approach employing Priority Funding, Zero Based Budgeting, and Performance Audits.
CRIME
Our current approach to crime costs too much, releases the wrong people from prison before their sentences are fully served, and defines as criminal activity actions that do not infringe upon another person's rights ("victimless crime"). Victimless crimes should not be prosecuted, sentences for real criminals, such as sexual predators, should be served in full and costly, ineffective procedures such as capital punishment should be abolished.
