- Balance the States budget without new taxes in record time.
- Repair our troubled education system
- Stop the expansion of Government
- Create a level playing field for timber and agriculture
- Properly implement Ballot Measure 37
My ancestors came to Oregon by covered wagon and have been involved in many of the communities that make up District #17. I am honored to be selected as the Republican candidate to represent this area. I believe that my business experience, past legislative experience and educational background have prepared me for serving the people of this district.
You can be assured that as your State Representative I will fight to protect your property rights and am endorsed by the states largest property rights group Oregonians in Action PAC. I am a friend of timber and agriculture and am endorsed by Associated Oregon Loggers, Inc. and by the Oregon Family Farm Association PAC. I will protect your right to hunt and am endorsed by the National Rifle Association of America, Inc. I support small business and am endorsed by National Federation of Independent Business/Oregon. I will work to limit the rule making capacity of government. I have a history of being tough on crime and am endorsed by the Oregon Police Chiefs for Safer Communities.
