Making the Will of the Voter's the #1 Priority

As Mayor of Cornelius I have encouraged citizen participation in decision making. I promised to eliminate a water user fee that was imposed on the citizens of Cornelius and the fee was replaced with a broad based revenue source created through citizen participation in the city's budget committee. I will have the same open-door policy as your State Representative that I have had as Mayor.

Stop Wasteful Spending

Currently this state is suffering fiscally and I plan to focus on dealing with the structural problem of our government's wasteful spending. Our state must learn to live within its budget the same way you and I do. Our state resources must be reevaluated to determine where our government is running inefficiently. We must tighten spending while maintaining vital community services.

I'm asking for you to help me ensure we keep local control over local issues including spending policies, job creation and neighborhood safety.
