We CAN Have Civil-Liberties AND Economic Freedom!
But We Must Look OUTSIDE the Two-Party Box

There are only a few things that government CAN do well and many that it can't. We must stop allowing government to waste it's time and the tax-payers money on those services that the free market can and should provide and spend it's efforts and the tax-payers money on those things that the people either cannot or should not do on their own.

It MUST be emphasized that the only money the government has is that which it has first taken away from citizens. As your representative, I will NEVER vote to raise your taxes. There are ALWAYS alternatives. Tax-credits instead of subsidies to provide Health Insurance to the many who cannot afford it.

I support zero-base budgeting requiring every state department to justify its budget EVERY biennium and to have a performance audit every other session.

I will defend Oregon's Constitution and Oregon's Death with Dignity and Medical Marijuana Acts against federal interference.

I will defend the voters decision to require compensation for total or partial takings of private property as expressed in Measure 37. Further, I will work to repeal unreasonable restrictions on development, particularly the egregious restriction that prevent farm owners from building a home on their own farmland.

Oregonians have been electing the "lesser of two evils" for many years and what has that gained us? More taxes, more regulations and more control over our personal and economic lives.

It is time to vote for your dreams, not your fears!
