Our problems will not be solved by the minds that created them – Albert Einstein.
The government now takes 48% of the national income in federal, state, and local taxes – U.S. Census Bureau.
I for one, think that's too much.
Education – If education is the legislature's top priority, as they say it is, then why don't they fund it first?
Because then they wouldn't have enough money to fund their contributors pet projects. And, as happens every legislative session, they then proclaim another "crisis in our schools".
Public Safety - Next we should fund public safety. I know that the attorneys are going to be disappointed if we end the revolving door of our justice system, but they are not typically the ones at risk.
The only way you waste your vote is by casting if for someone you know will make government bigger.
First look to yourself to provide what you need. Then look to your family, then your neighbors, and, as a last resort, look to government
As a lifelong Oregonian, I believe that the current legislature has a real disconnect from the true will of the people. That's why I'm running.
Since it appears that they aren't listening to you, perhaps you might want to elect someone who would.
