Do the right thing. That's the simple principle Brad Avakian lives by. Nothing is more important to Brad than his duty to the neighbors he serves--not party, not politics. It's why he is trusted to stand up for his community.

As our Senator, Brad will continue:

Brad is fighting for a full school year and Rainy Day Fund to stabilize school budgets. When legislation was introduced to take history, PE and art out of school curriculum, Brad stopped it.

"The legislature has no stronger advocate for public education than Brad. By sponsoring the only no-cuts education budget, he took a stand when others wouldn't."

-Susan Castillo, State Superintendent of Public Instruction

Brad sponsored bills to reduce prescription drug costs, make health insurance affordable, and force insurance companies to cover needed treatments.

"Brad is a champion for seniors and those who are ailing. We need him in Salem."

-Representative Mitch Greenlick

By sponsoring biofuel production and pesticide reporting bills, Brad helped preserve clean air, clean water and Oregon's natural beauty. Brad also co-founded a local OLCV Chapter.

"Whether it's saving our schools, protecting our environment, or advocating for equal rights, Brad has always been there fighting for Oregonians. He'll be an invaluable leader in the Senate."

-Governor Barbara Roberts
