NEW LEADERSHIP, REAL SOLUTIONS
"I know Jesse will roll up his sleeves and work hard. We can trust him to support Oregon values."
Former Governor Barbara Roberts
"Jesse will fight to make sure every possible tax dollar gets into the classroom."
Oregon State Treasurer Randall Edwards
My name is Jesse Cornett and I hope to be your State Senator.
- Strengthening Our Schools: I'll fight for lower class sizes and work to drive dollars into the classroom. We must modernize our tax structure, and deliver school funding that is adequate, stable, and real. I'll work for greater accountability and parent/community involvement.
- Jobs and the Economy: I'll work hard to make sure that Oregon has a strong and vibrant economy with living wage jobs, which is why I'm proud to be supported by Labor Commissioner Dan Gardner.
- Health Care for all Oregonians: Too many children, working adults, and seniors lack basic health coverage. Fixing our health care crisis will mean a stronger state, stronger economy, and stronger families.
Oregon is a special place, but we face many challenges. It is time for new leadership, new ideas, and focus on the future. We can do better and we will. Please consider joining the Multnomah County Democratic Party, Nick Fish, Oregon AFL-CIO Past President Tim Nesbitt and many others in supporting me; I would be honored to earn your vote.
