ARNIE ROBLAN
Turning the Tide for the South Coast
Jobs that Support A Family
The South Coast needs more family wage jobs and strong businesses. I've been working hard to protect our local businesses and our natural resources economy. I stood up to political threats in Salem to cut funds for the North Bend Airport expansion and succeeded in bringing over $10 million to the project.
Putting Education First
Our children need stable, secure school funding. That's why I refused to vote for any plan that contained cuts to schools. As Principal of Marshfield High, I worked with limited funding and still came up with ways to craft a quality education. Today, educators are running out of options. We must fund schools first.
Making Health Care Affordable
Too many working families don't have access to affordable health care. I fought to require health insurers to hold public hearings before they can raise rates and to expand Oregon's prescription drug pool to include thousands more citizens.
