"A Better Future for Oregonians with JOHN SWEENEY"
As a U.S. Congressman, John Sweeney will work for these reforms for you:
1. Education: Schools must be run at the local level. There is a shortage of teachers coming. We must start a national effort to recruit new teachers while they are still in high school to get a head start to overcome this growing problem.
2. Health Care: Medicare for all. Medicare for age 65 and over covers 80% of the costs. Medicare for those age 64 and under should cover 40% of the costs at the same premium. 15% of the people have no coverage! Medicare insurance is needed!
3. Social Security: Social Security must be protected and improved. In these striving times many companies are freezing and ending their retirements, and not offering them to new employees. It is very important because Social Security maybe the only retirement left for most people!
4. Law Reform: The criminal justice system does not work for us! It is time to change it from an adversarial system, where it is who wins that counts to a "True Justice System", where it is law and truth that bring about True Justice.
JOHN SWEENEY is a native Oregonian.
JOHN SWEENEY is an advocate and defender of the American Way of Life!
