Jean’s background includes extensive research with the League of Women Voters regarding education funding. She also served for Governor Goldschmidt on a school funding task force. Jean understands the challenges that school funding faces in our district. Oregon’s Economy Jean Cowan will continue the effort to put Oregonians back to work. Oregon is a beautiful place to live, but it is imperative that we create and support the kind of family wage job growth necessary to energize and sustain its vitality and economic recovery. Healthcare for our Most Vulnerable Citizens Jean recognizes the challenges facing health and human services and she has dedicated years to understanding and seeking solutions to the many difficult questions. In District 10, access to affordable quality healthcare is of major importance to her, especially among our children. Putting Experience to Work for you Jean Cowan understands balancing fiscal responsibility, accountability, and the delivery of services that Oregonians want and need.
