“Rep. Hass stood up for seniors when it counted. Because of him, Oregon seniors have a strong voice in the legislature.”

-- Dr. Jim Davis
Senior Citizen Advocate/Gerontologist

As a member of the Tax Reform Task Force, he has sponsored legislation to create a rainy day fund and stabilize education funding – without raising taxes. His position is that a more broad based tax code will lessen the tax burden on Oregon’s working families, while stabilizing funding for schools.

Mark grew up hiking, biking and fishing in Oregon’s mountains and streams. He values an Oregon of clean air and clean water. That’s why he led the charge toward cleaning up the Willamette River and co-sponsored legislation to ban cancer-causing mercury products in Oregon.

“Rep. Hass has become one of our most important allies in the legislature. His moderate positions and bi-partisan approach are his keys to success.”

-- Rob Drake
Beaverton Mayor

“He has been a champion for law enforcement efforts everywhere – from victims’ rights to helping street cops. I can’t say enough good things about Mark Hass.”

-- David Bishop
