As a member of the Economic Development Committee and co-chair of the Bipartisan
Growth Caucus, Representative Hunt successfully worked to streamline regulations,
protect workers comp rates, create shovel-ready industrial lands, and assist
businesses creating family-wage jobs.
DAVE HUNT:Investing in Schools
A former School Board member, Representative Hunt fought for reasonable class
sizes, a full school year, adequate facilities, reasonable testing, and a
complete academic program for schools and colleges.
DAVE HUNT:Investing in Health
Representative Hunt led the fight to protect childrens health insurance
and school-based clinics to keep kids healthy and protect insurance rates.
He voted to save cost-effective services for seniors, children, mentally ill
and disabled Oregonians, expand farmers market vouchers for hungry kids
and seniors, and enhance affordability of prescription drugs.
DAVE HUNT:Investing in Infrastructure
Representative Hunt passed legislation to help get our countys fair
share of transportation funding. He helped pass the road and bridge repair
package to enable freight mobility and construction jobs. He successfully
fought to retain Amtrak service to our region, including the new Oregon City
station.
