These have been trying times for Oregonians. I’ve worked not only to stabilize education and necessary social services but to ensure efficient and effective government. It will take concerted efforts by the legislature and the public to find acceptable options. The unacceptable alternative is to forsake the quality education and services that Oregonians need.
