Commitment to Community
Wes was born and raised in Albany, and has dedicated his life to serving his
community. He has served as a volunteer on school and public-safety committees,
the Albany General Hospital board, Albany Area Chamber of Commerce board and
various committees, the Childrens Farm Home board and the Farm Home
advisory board, as well as various groups within his profession. He has cooperated
with people of different viewpoints to achieve important goals.
Helping People Succeed
For more than three decades, Wes worked tirelessly through his profession
to make his community a better place to live. He has helped hundreds of people
build and manage small businesses, providing thousands of local jobs. His
work with people from many backgrounds -- millworkers, farmers, teachers,
homemakers, ministers -- has prepared him to help build a better Oregon.
Wes primary goal in the legislature is to work toward stable funding
for education and increased public safety. If we can reach across partisan
lines and create an atmosphere of working together toward common goals --
then we can bring the legislative process in Oregon back to a respectable
standard. With cooperation on the part of both parties, our reward will be
better education, improved public safety, a stronger economy and more jobs.
Vote for Wes, and we will work together for a better Oregon!
