After running a small business for 14 years, I understand the challenges faced
by small and mid-sized businesses. I will work with them to keep and create
good paying jobs here in Central Oregon.
ADVOCATE FOR QUALITY EDUCATION
I have worked at the local, state and national levels to provide quality educational
opportunities for all students. I will work to ensure adequate and stable funding
for our schools.
PROMOTE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND INDEPENDENCE
My work with community programs has focused on getting people back to work or
back in school. I believe in the benefits of education for adults as well as
children.
SUPPORT SAFE COMMUNITIES
Through my volunteer work and my career as an attorney, I have advocated for
our most vulnerable citizens, our children. We all deserve to feel secure in
our homes and on our streets. I will not sacrifice our public safety.
PRESERVE OUR QUALITY OF LIFE
I have seen Bend grow by leaps and bounds and I understand the benefits, and
challenges, that have come with rapid growth. I will bring a progressive yet
practical approach to these issues.
