Funding and Accountability for Schools
Joanne understands that our local schools must have the tools to prepare our children whether they go on to college or career. She will ensure that dollars are spent in the classrooms where it matters most.
Joanne has consistently supported an economic security fund so our schools and senior programs remain stable during tough economic times.
As a Legislator, Joanne fought to protect Oregon Project Independence so seniors can remain independent and in their homes. She is determined to fight for affordable health care and prescription drug coverage.
