Kelley stood up to Republican budget cuts to our schools because she knows that improving our economy starts with investing in our children. That’s why she sponsored legislation capping elementary school class size and fought for stable and adequate education funding.

Thanks to Kelley’s work, a bulk purchasing plan was passed that will give seniors and low income families relief from the high cost of prescription drugs. She also supported bills to expand the Oregon Health Plan to include more children. Kelley has consistently voted against restricting a woman’s right to choose and she believes health care should be a fundamental right of every Oregonian.
