Since returning to Harney County in 1987, Tim Colahan has brought a professional level of experience to the office of District Attorney. Tim is a career prosecutor, having experience in the prosecution of cases in both State and Federal courts. Tim has been active at both the state and county levels, working with committees and workgroups dealing with such issues as asset forfeiture, sexual assault, juvenile crime prevention and restitution reform. Tim has worked closely with local law enforcement agencies to provide training and advice on law enforcement issues. Tim and his wife Marcie, a teacher, have three boys. Tim has been active as a volunteer baseball and basketball coach in the community.
