Bryce Anderson on EDUCATION
K-12 funding of reading, writing, arithmetic, science, music and art education will have my full attention. Efficiencies must be found in the budgetary process. I favor tax credits for college savings as part of the Oregon College Savings Plan.

Bryce Anderson on SENIORS & FAMILIES
Senior citizens deserve our respect, safe communities, and inclusion in the political debate. As a legislator I will protect your benefits and focus on family friendly legislation.

Bryce Anderson on STATE SPENDING
The handling of the State budget is appalling! Legislators who voted for the $800 million tax increase in 2003 should resign or be replaced! The voters said “NO MORE TAXES”. I will work to ensure our State lives within its means. We don’t need new taxes or wasteful spending. As a legislator I will not be distracted from Oregon’s essential priorities.

Police, fire and emergency workers deserve our unwavering support. Criminals should serve their time in an environment that encourages rehabilitation.

Oregon has resources to produce excellent jobs and opportunities. People want to determine their own destiny. I favor legislation promoting creation of small business, self-employment, and entrepreneurial endeavors. Tax deductions and credits could create incentives therein.
