Dear Friends: It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you these last six years and I am asking you to re-elect me as your state representative. Serving you has been the richest, most rewarding experience of my life and I want to continue doing my best to be your voice in state government.

I will continue to work hard to help you with your problems and to listen to what is important to you. While I have had much success in doing so, I know there is more I can do.

I will continue to use my principles of faith, freedom and fairness, along with my farmer’s common sense, to guide my efforts to serve you. I believe strongly in the enduring principles of our founding fathers that gave us our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.

I will continue to take those ideas to heart and author bills to make government more accountable, effective and efficient. Some have already become law, while others have been defeated by those who do not want common sense reforms and transparency in government.

I will continue the fight to make government work better for you if you send me back to Salem. This is my pledge and my commitment to serving you.
