Dave on State Budget: I believe in instituting a cap on state government spending so that the state does not grow at unsustainable levels during good economic times only to be cut during the bad.

Dave on Education: I firmly believe in funding education and will ensure that there is enough money for smaller class sizes, greater funds for instruction in the classroom and money that will free up teachers to do their most important job: educate our children.

Dave on Jobs & The Economy: I believe in cutting the bureaucratic red tape, removing barriers to job creation and speeding up the process for permits, which will create jobs, add dollars to the tax rolls and help Oregon be business friendly once again.

Dave on Seniors: Making prescription drugs affordable and keeping the doors open on nursing homes are my priorities when it comes to protecting Oregon’s seniors.

Dave on Quality of Life & the Environment: As a native Oregonian, I understand the need to balance Oregon’s natural beauty with managed growth. Cleaning up the Willamette and Tualatin Rivers and encouraging responsible growth will improve our economy and leave a healthy legacy for our children.
