Putting Kids First, Protecting Critical Services

As School Board Chair, Rose Cook has had a front row seat to observe the state's unstable school funding debacle. As State Representative, Rose will work to stabilize education funding and prioritize spending to protect critical services. She believes Oregon's schools and public safety programs must be funded first during the legislative session, not last.

Supporting Small Business, Putting Oregonians Back to Work

The Legislature has failed to improve the economy, and policies that have been approved over the last three years are making our situation worse. Rose Cook will support Oregon's small businesses that help put people back to work. Rose believes it's time for the Legislature to re-examine policies that discourage job growth, and pass measures that will help Oregon's businesses be successful.

Balancing the Budget, Spending Your Tax Dollars Wisely

Rose Cook believes state spending is unsustainable, and that the waste of taxpayer's hard-earned dollars is unacceptable. As State Representative, Rose will prioritize spending to protect critical services, oppose job-killing tax and fee increases, and fight waste, fraud and abuse in our state government.

"It's my opinion that people are ready for someone who is not a career politician, but has the life experience necessary to represent the citizens of District 16. I'm running to give average Oregonians a voice in state government and change our state for the better. Please join me." - Rose Cook
