Occupation: CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE, 6TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT, POSITION 3 UMATILLA AND MORROW COUNTIES. Elected 5/2004, Sworn in 1/2005. General Jurisdiction Circuit Court Judge presiding over criminal and civil cases; and Colonel, Judge Advocate Generals Corps (JAG), Oregon Army National Guard (ORARNG).

Educational Background: Juris Doctorate (JD), Willamette University School of Law (1986); Bachelor of Arts (BS) in Business Administration, Oregon State University (1983); Associates of Arts (AA) in Liberal Arts, Blue Mountain Community College (1981).
Prior Governmental Experience: Elected Circuit Court Judge; Appointed Circuit Judge PRO-TEM; Elected Member BMCC Board of Directors; Appointed Hermiston City Prosecutor; Elected City of Hermiston Municipal Judge; Appointed Member of the Umatilla County Planning Commission; Oregon Army National Guard Officer.
It is my privilege to have served the residents of Umatilla and Morrow County in various capacities since 1991, including Municipal Judge, City Prosecutor, BMCC Board Director, Umatilla County Planning Commission Member and Chair, Circuit Judge Pro-Tem, Circuit Judge and National Guard Officer. As Circuit Judge I have maintained the highest levels of integrity, impartiality and independence required of the judiciary, having presided over cases in Pendleton, Hermiston, and Heppner. As a lifelong resident of Umatilla County, I want to thank the Citizens of Umatilla and Morrow Counties for the continued opportunity to serve.
