    Bill Kennemer grew up poor on a farm outside Corvallis, put himself through college, graduate school, and eventually built a successful business as a family psychologist. Over the years Bill's earned a reputation for working with people to better our community. Bill and Cherie have been actively involved in our local community for over 36 years. Their four children and six grandchildren all live in Clackamas County.

    State spending continues to rise at a rate higher than family incomes in Oregon. Bill Kennemer believes that spending must be sustainable and budgets must be realistic. As State Representative, Bill introduced HB 3275 to require independent, performance audits of agencies. As taxpayers we should expect efficient and cost-effective programs. That's what Bill Kennemer is fighting for in Salem.

    Bill Kennemer understands the challenges facing many families in paying for basic needs. As a member of the House Health Care Committee, Bill is working to control rising costs while keeping us and our doctors in control of our health care decisions.
