    JOSH MARQUIS is recognized as a leader in his profession. In 2009 he was appointed to the Leadership Council of the American Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section. He was elected as Vice President of the National District Attorneys Association in 2005 and is a member of the Executive Committee of its Board of Directors. In 2001 he was elected President of the Oregon District Attorneys Association. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and of the University of Oregon Law School Alumni Association. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and has been a member of the Astoria Rotary club since 1994.
