Jobs are Job One for Kim Thatcher:
As the owner of two small businesses, Kim understands that unpredictable regulation and tax policies get in the way of creating jobs. She pushes for common sense ways to reduce the costs of doing business to encourage job creation.

Responsible Government Reforms:
Oregon has a new budget transparency website thanks to Kim's efforts in the legislature. She is the Chair of the Taxpayer Caucus, and is working to establish Core Functions of Government so the legislature will focus spending on what's most important to Oregonians rather than on ineffective or lower priority programs.

Education Accountability and School Choice:
Kim is a member of the House Education Committee and demanded an audit on the Willamette Education Service District to ensure taxpayer dollars are being spent appropriately. She is also a leading advocate for virtual charter schools and other education options.

Law and Order:
The only State Representative with 100% on the Oregon Anti-Crime Alliance scorecard, Kim opposes the legislature's early release program for inmates. She also supports gun owners 2nd Amendment Rights.
