Letter from Rep. John Lim

It's been my honor to represent you in the Legislature and I've worked hard to serve you effectively.

I've always worked in a bipartisan manner to address issues facing our community. My record focuses on key priorities:

I've voted to increase funding for education, including additional funding for Head Start, and to re-establish the School Improvement Fund to improve student achievement. I will continue to push for higher educational standards for our students.

Family Wage Jobs
I've co-sponsored legislation to promote new investments in Oregon businesses and boost job growth, and will continue to work for more family-wage jobs.

Public Safety
I've worked to pass bipartisan legislation cracking down on meth, addressing crime along Gresham's TriMet line and supporting State Police.

Environment and Renewable Energy
I've voted to expand energy tax credits and supported legislation to make Oregon a leader in the production of renewable energy.

You deserve principled, dedicated and experienced leadership in the State Capitol. That's why I'm asking for one more opportunity to continue working to make our community a better place. Thank you for your support.
