RE-ELECT JUDGE MENDIGUREN,
Vote with Confidence & Keep the Court Moving.
Judge Mendiguren does more than promise to be a good judge: He has demonstrated his abilities for the last twelve years. As Presiding Judge, he had the added responsibility of reviewing and establishing improved court practices.
Judge Mendiguren helps the people of Eastern Oregon, because he cares. He made the Union County Court House available for a successful legal aid program, allowing lowincome people a chance to be reasonably represented in Court. Judge Mendiguren brought the concept of Drug Court to fruition in 2002, which continues to assist addicts to overcome addiction and become productive members of the community. Judge Mendiguren was instrumental in implementing Juvenile Drug Court, which helps juvenile offenders earn second chances. Judge Mendiguren takes the time to listen to people who appear before him and treats them with respect.
Judge Mendiguren will continue to support our criminal justice system. He will continue to hold offenders accountable through appropriate sentencing and support victims' rights through fair-minded verdicts.
Judge Mendiguren is endorsed by many in the legal andlaw enforcement communities.
