Re-elect Nancy Nathanson for Results, not Gridlock!
In recognition of her budgetary expertise, Nancy was named Vice-Chair of the Ways & Means Committee and serves on the Emergency Board. Nancy helped establish Oregon's first "rainy day" savings fund.
Standing up for Seniors, Children and Families
Nancy worked around the clock to deliver better in-home care for seniors and cheaper prescription drugs for thousands. She shed light on health care costs, and assisted foster children and their families.
A Stronger Lane County Economy
Nancy is shining a spotlight on the Eugene 08 Olympic Trials. Recognizing the importance of public safety and the environment, Nancy delivered state dollars to enhance the Willamette River corridor and ensure proper security preparations. Creating an attractive, safe venue will promote tourism and economic development for Lane County and the entire state.
Protecting What's Important to Us
Nancy took action when our community needed her help in preventing crime. She helped shape a budget leading to 24/7 state police coverage on our highways, increased funding for drug courts and mandated treatment for offenders.
A Strong Voice
Nancy provided key leadership in improving protections for mobile home residents and is pressing for solutions to the impending county funding crisis.
Investing in Our Future
Nancy is currently helping to design a new legislative process to adequately fund kindergarten through higher education. She champions workforce development and pushes for increased state support for Lane and other community colleges.
"It has been an honor serving you in Salem. I look forward to continuing my work making health care more affordable, improving funding for education, and fighting for good jobs for Oregonians."
