Judge Williams is dedicated to a fair, impartial and common sense approach to justice. He believes that each person appearing in court deserves professional and respectful treatment. Criminal defendants are held personally accountable. Appropriate punitive sanctions are imposed with opportunities for defendants to reform their criminal behavior. As Presiding Judge for the Benton County Circuit Court, Judge Williams is responsible for the administration and supervision of the court. He is working to assure equal access to the court for all persons and to improve the efficiencies of court operations. He believes it is essential to achieve timely disposition of cases for all users of the court. Judge Williams will continue to work hard to earn the public's pride and confidence in our community's judicial system.
