I will not be a career politician. I am running for the Oregon State Senate because Oregonians deserve better from our legislature. I am an Oregonian who understands the desperate challenges facing our State, and more importantly; how to go about fixing them. I'm a fiscal conservative with a deep desire to serve my community and I want to serve you (not special interests) as we begin restoring Oregon's greatness. When I'm elected, I'll pledge to do the following:
1) Demand Accountability in State Spending.
No longer will our legislature recklessly overspend on programs we don't need; with money we don't have.2) Create a stable business climate where private sector jobs are created.
3) Ensure the State lives within its means and passes a balanced budget without new taxes.
We need common sense brought back to the table.
Like you, I am tired of our schools, police, fire, and emergency services being threatened every time our current leadership needs additional funds to sustain their over-spending. Even though they increase spending of your money far beyond population and inflation every session, it never seems to be enough.
When elected; I will fund our core services first, and remain accountable to you.
I humbly ask for your vote.
