Deborah serves her community as a volunteer firefighter and understands we face a crisis in rural health care. She will work to increase health care access in rural areas and lower the cost of prescription drugs.

Deborah will work hard to adequately fund a quality education for Oregon's students.

Deborah successfully fought to keep 250 family wage jobs in the fishing industry in Clatsop County.

Deborah helped people on welfare help themselves. She taught a successful Welfare to Work Program that trained people to get jobs and off welfare.

Deborah will work to control spending by state agencies and increase accountability in government.

Deborah supports a balanced approach to protecting natural resources and maintaining the jobs they supply.

Deborah and her husband live on the family tree farm and have two grown children.
