JUDY STIEGLER:
COURAGE. COMMITMENT.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR OUR COMMUNITY.
Judy Stiegler grew up poor, put herself through school and became the first woman to practice law in Redmond. She raised a family. Survived cancer. And became one of our most outstanding community leaders.
A GENUINE EDUCATIONAL LEADER
Judy led the Bend-La Pine School Board, the Oregon State Board of Education and the National Association of State Boards of Education. We desperately need leadership for Oregon's schools, and Judy Stiegler offers experience that cannot be matched with the budget and management expertise to ensure that our tax dollars go directly to the classroom-where our kids benefit most.
CREATING JOBS
After running a small business for 14 years, Judy understands the challenges faced by small and mid-sized businesses. She will work with them to keep and create good paying jobs here in Central Oregon.
PROTECTING FAMILIES
As the director of Deschutes County Court Appointed Special Advocates Judy defends children and helps families in crisis every day. And as a survivor of breast cancer, Judy is committed to fighting for affordable health care and prescription coverage for all our families and seniors.
RESTORING TRUST IN LEADERSHIP
Judy always puts people before politics. She'll help put an end to the partisanship that has paralyzed the legislature. The legislature is broken. Electing people like Judy Stiegler is how we can fix it.
