RON SUNSERI: A RECORD OF SUCCESS

LOWER TAXES. As your State Representative, Ron led the fight to return the "kicker" to taxpayers and maintain state spending limits. And Ron supports repealing the Multnomah County income tax.

PRIORITIZING EDUCATION. As Chair of the House Education Committee, Ron successfully passed charter school legislation creating innovative learning opportunities for our children. Ron voted to put kids first by empowering local school districts to reward good teachers, assist struggling teachers, and replace poor teachers. Ron helped Mt. Hood Community College receive nearly $500,000 in extra funding, and $100,000 for apprentice training.

SAFER NEIGHBORHOODS. On the Judiciary Committee, Ron worked for safer neighborhoods, beefing up drunk driving laws, toughening laws against sex offenders, strengthening victims' rights, and providing women additional defense against abusive husbands. Ron is committed to swift, severe punishment as an effective deterrent for violent criminals.

RON SUNSERI'S CONSISTENT VOTING RECORD REFLECTS HIS COMMITMENT TO STRONG FAMILIES, SAFER COMMUNITIES, AND A VIBRANT OREGON ECONOMY.

"As a three-term Representative, Ron Sunseri demonstrated a commitment to lower taxes and less government spending. His leadership and dedication will make Oregon a better place to live, work, and raise a family."
U.S. Senator Gordon Smith

"Ron is the advocate we need in the State Senate. If half the other legislators had the integrity Ron has, maybe the public would have more trust in government."
Hon. Gussie McRobert, former Gresham Mayor

"Ron is right on the issues for Oregon taxpayers - lower taxes, spending limits, and less government regulation. His opponent's solution was more taxes and Measure 30."
Russ Walker, Oregon Citizens for a Sound Economy PAC
