A MESSAGE FROM STAN BUNN:
"Excellence in Education; Getting There Together," captures my belief that, together, we can offer our youth an excellent education. No one person or group can do it alone, but together we can. Having the right kind of leadership is tremendously important. My leadership skills will help all those concerned with education to focus on and accomplish our goals. I am excited about doing this job, and you have my commitment to work hard and give my best efforts to serve well.
Long before my role as a parent, educator, attorney, and legislator, I was an Oregon kid who went to school in Lafayette and Dayton, picked strawberries and beans in the summer, worked on our family farm and earned my State Farmer degree in FFA. I still have those deep Oregon roots and want current Oregon kids from every part of the state to have the educational opportunities that helped me. I want them to have what they need to step into their world, and to be ready to lead it.
I am ready to help make that happen. I ask for your support.
