Dear Voter,
Being your representative has been exhilarating, challenging, frustrating, and an honor at the same time. During the 1997 session I saw a lot, and learned even more. We had many gains and a few losses, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us. For the 1999 session, I plan to advocate affordable housing for retired and fixed income seniors as well as first time home buyers, restorative justice to prevent recidivism, and a reliable source of funding for public schools.
I could not have done this work without your assistance, feedback, and belief in my ideas. Thank you for your continued support, and your vote this November. I look forward to serving you in the 1999 legislative session.
Sincerely, Jo Ann Bowman
