Martin Gonzalez for State Representative... Because All People Count.
Thirty-five years ago, I began my community service doing errands for the elderly. Over the years, I have worked to open doors of opportunity for all...create family wage jobs...end discrimination... fight for civil rights, equality and justice across Oregon.
Today, I see elderly people fearful for their safety;
Families forced to sell their homes because of increased taxes or mounting health care bills;
The need for new leadership to bring parents, teachers and administrators together.
As a parent...not a politician...I ask for your vote to fight for justice on these issues in Salem.
We Must Leave No One Behind:
"For more than 20 years Martin has worked tirelessly to create jobs, to create wealth, to guarantee quality education and comprehensive health care... Martin is driven by a moral obligation to lift our children up rather than lock them up... District 18 needs his leadership."
Rev. Jesse Jackson, Portland Observer, 8/19/1998
