I believe that governments are established to provide for our safety and happiness. As individuals, we cannot provide the infrastructure and safety nets needed for our elders, our children, our communities at large. That is the job of government. I am willing and able to represent you and your hard earned dollars in the Legislature. My research as a producer and student provides me with the knowledge and a passion to work for:

Safe Drinking Water: Protect watersheds for our communities. Restore and protect salmon runs for the future.

Quality Education: Put our children first. Provide real educational opportunity for all our children. Protect our future.

Safe Forest Practices on Public Lands: Stop subsidizing industrial logging on our public lands. Create jobs based on restoration. Provide recreational opportunities for all Oregonians.

Campaign Finance Reform: Return power to the people whom our representatives are elected to serve. Do away with legal political corruption and insider politics.

Workers Rights: Oppose Right-to-Work and other attacks on unions. Support living wages and benefits for all workers.

Health Care For All: Universal health care for all citizens.

Personal Freedom: Uphold civil and personal rights, religious freedom, the right to choose.

Pollution Taxes: Tax the bad, not the good. Shift the burden from the people to the polluters

Transportation Choices: Increase public transportation, safe bicycling and pedestrian routes and building livable communities that are less reliant on cars.
