As a small businessperson, volunteer and community leader, Andrea Hungerford is making a difference in our neighborhoods. Andrea is concerned about the same things we are, whether it is individuals taking personal responsibility for their actions, demanding accountability from our government or protecting the quality of our communities by reducing traffic and fighting juvenile crime.
For a Safer Community
Andrea believes that while we must punish adults who break the law, we should also concentrate on juvenile crime, keeping guns out of their hands and making them accountable the first time they get into trouble - including facing their victims directly. Andrea will also fight to protect seniors from fraud and abuse.

The Right Experience for Our Schools
Andrea Hungerford works directly with 75 Oregon school districts to strengthen educational quality at the classroom level. She understands what the legislature must do to make schools more accountable, help students meet higher standards and make sure that education funds get spent in the classroom.
On Our Side
Andrea believes that the legislature must put voters first, not special interests. That is why she supports putting patients ahead of HMO bureaucrats, and the needs of neighborhoods before developers who bring more traffic and pressure on services.
