Reduced crime: helped organize residents to shut down "crack alley"; proposed and helped manage pilot home-building program for at-risk youth

Started the Walk for Humanity, which celebrates community building and has raised over $250,000 for non-profits

Launched the Habitat Home Building Center, which converted a derelict tavern into a point of community pride

Began the People's Investment Opportunity program that helps tenants buy homes or attend college

I grew up in District 16 and have deep roots here. I will work with you to improve the livability of our community and our state. Together we can make a difference!!

My top priority is stable and adequate funding paired with accountability for public schools. I received a great education in our District and want my children (Jonathan and Brynne) and your children to have the same.

I will work hard to make an impact:

Reduce the tax burden on working families

Forge creative partnerships to protect our environment

Support pro-choice and reduce teen smoking

Fight suburban sprawl and urban blight
