RECORD AS A PROSECUTOR:

John Haroldson was appointed by Governor Kulongoski in February 2007, and immediately demonstrated his ability to create cohesion within the Benton County criminal justice system. With more than 18 years of experience as a criminal prosecutor, in cases ranging from traffic offenses to aggravated murder, John Haroldson has earned the trust of law enforcement. John Haroldson is endorsed by Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers; Benton County Sheriff Diana Simpson; Linn County District Attorney Jason Carlile; and Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller.

John Haroldson has demonstrated a strong commitment to protect our most vulnerable citizens. He has led a historical campaign against major drug operations in Benton County, and remained focused on preserving quality of life in Benton County through a quality criminal justice system that is fair and accessible to everyone.

John Haroldson runs an efficient, professional office and is endorsed by the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Local 2064; State Senator Frank Morse; State Representatives Sara Gelser and Andy Olson; Benton County Commissioners Jay Dixon, Annabelle Jaramillo, and Linda Modrell.

John Haroldson serves as an advisor to Oregon State University's Cesar Chavez Cultural Center and as a Spanish bilingual literacy volunteer with the SMART program in Corvallis elementary schools. John Haroldson has been recognized for excellence in prosecution by the Oregon Crime Victims Assistance Network, and the Oregon Humane Society.
