My name is Cheryl Hukill. I am 60 years old and have been married for 40 years. We have lived in Klamath Falls for 39 years. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Cheryl Hukill is very active in the Military Affairs Committee. They are "Honorary Commanders" for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. As the troops are deployed or returned home, she is there with the MAC group, greeting troops. She was active in helping to raise funds for the then Merle West Medical Center.
The proposed home rule/charter #18-69 must be defeated. Klamath County needs full time commissioners, voted at large, to represent all the citizens of the County. The charter opens doors for new ways of taxation, bigger government, diminished freedoms, division between neighbors and less representation both at home, Salem, and Washington D.C.
Vote No on #18-69.
