The United States is fighting imperial wars without end. It cannot maintain its political and economic primacy without military force.

Vote Pacific Green for Peace

Representative Blumenauer since 2006 has voted for war funding on six separate occasions, for a cumulative total of at least $444 billion. I won't vote for any funds for the Iraq and Afghan wars, and I won't vote for threats of war. Let us get rid of nuclear weapons and learn to live at peace.

Vote Pacific Green for Health Care

I would vote for a national single-payer health plan so decent medical care is available for all. Such a plan, H.R. 676, is already before Congress, and Representative Blumenauer does not support it.

Vote Pacific Green for Schools

Representative Blumenauer's support for the No Child Left Behind Act shows how out of touch he is with the needs of our students. As a lifelong educator I oppose more tests and support greater funding of music, dance, and art. Every child is an individual, not a means to improve the Gross Domestic Product.

Vote Pacific Green for a Sustainable Future

On this issue I agree with the incumbent.

Vote Pacific Green for Equality

Extend equal rights to all income brackets and gender identities. We are all human beings.
