Richard Riggs: Proven Leadership

"Oregon needs leadership for the future
and Richard Riggs is the right choice to deliver."
Senator Ron Wyden

Supporting Our Troops

As an Iraq war veteran, Richard Riggs will support other combat veterans by making sure they have the medical, educational and housing services they need to resume their lives after coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Protecting Our Environmental Legacy

Richard Riggs supported Measure 49 to protect our farms and forests from development. He'll work to make Oregon a leader in renewable energy, such as solar and wind power to combat global warming and decrease dependence on foreign oil.

Providing Education Options for a Lifetime

Richard Riggs' plan includes stable and adequate funding, a longer school year, and smaller class sizes for the early grades. He'll also continue working to make college affordable for all Oregonians.

Creating Tax Fairness

Richard Riggs will reform the $10 corporate minimum tax so big corporations pay their fair share for education, health care, and public safety.
