The public's demand for effective action and the values embodied in the Constitution of the United States drive my approach to government and community service. Experiences gained throughout my career have taught me the necessary skills to lead and manage complex organizations.

It takes common sense and solid conservative instincts to navigate the ever shifting social, economic, and environmental challenges we face in this County, where nature is at her best, and we are at home. I know I am not the only one energized and motivated by a difficult challenge. We have our share of people who are more than willing and able to raise their voices and roll up their shirtsleeves when the call is given. I am confidant in the collective energies of Curry's citizenry when nurtured and summoned.

The general welfare of our people, lands, and waters cannot be fostered or preserved by throwing dollars about and appearing to be busy. Under my watch, our quality of life shall be conserved and enhanced by unleashing our spirit of volunteerism, frugality, self-reliance, creativity, and perseverance.

Local business is a vital part of any community. Our challenge is to identify and invite business that complement the goals of our county as well as encourage existing ones to succeed.

Integrity, focus, hard work, and straight communication - these are the tools for achieving and sustaining health and prosperity into the future.
