Courage, Leadership, Results Mannix had the courage to fight to enact Oregon's landmark anti-stalking law, mandatory minimum sentences for violent criminals, and tougher laws against repeat drunk drivers. He led efforts to expand consumer protection, reduce unnecessary regulations, provide fair tax hearings for taxpayers, reform Workers' Compensation, and improve services for senior citizens and developmentally disabled persons.
